Effective ways to replenish your energy reserve in early winter.

How to replenish your energy.

In December, each of us will have to make a mighty leap on all fronts: finish essential projects and work, accelerate in achieving goals, organize New Year's Eve, and in all this turmoil do not go crazy.
Energy and strength are needed more than ever, but the body treacherously goes into hibernation, and he does not care about our mighty plans. Where can we get the energy to catch everything and burst into the air in 2020?
In addition to healthy sleep, relaxation, sports and healthy eating, there are 3 not prominent, but effective ways to replenish your energy reserves.

Finding the Inner Child.

In the structure of the personality of each person, there is a layer of frozen childhood states and experiences - called in the inner child. It is this part of our psyche that can generate energy.
Remember how restless children are: they can run, jump, play for days on end. These fidgets have an incredible amount of strength; they are all interested and curious; the whole world is a game and a field for research. But growing up, we seem to disconnect from an authoritative source of clean energy. The fact is that we lose contact with our inner child, leave him unattended, and switch to adult cares.
Therefore, to regain access to inexhaustible energy resources, it is necessary to restore communication with your inner child. To do this, remember what you most loved in your childhood: to draw, sing, jump on a trampoline, maybe play snowballs? Take some time and spend it in your favorite pastime. Get you adored, hole-worn children's toy or buy the one you dreamed of as a kid.
May these activities and subjects become guides for you in a carefree childhood state. Your inner baby will be happy that they remembered him, took his time, and he will undoubtedly thank you with a generous portion of strength, energy and inspiration.

Getting rid of unfinished business.

Any started, but incomplete affairs pump out your strength. Dangling tasks, unfulfilled promises, debts left in the middle of courses - you may not even remember them. Still, all these imperfections, like open programs or tabs in the browser, occupy RAM and lead to system braking. As a result, you become distracted and ineffective; you don't understand where the energy is flowing.

How to stop it? To get started, write all your "tails" into one list. And large multi-stage tasks such as "organize a vacation", and small ones like "return 15 $  to a colleague for coffee." When the to-do list is ready, review it and decide that you are not going to finish it.

It is often quite honest to admit that, for example, you are not ready to listen to this expensive speed reading course. The brain will receive a signal that the case has moved to the category of completed, and the energy will be released.
Now it's time to prioritize. To do this, divide all cases into four categories according to the Eisenhower matrix:

  • Important and urgent
  • Important but not urgent
  • Urgent but not important
  • Not important and not urgent
Examples marked "not important" are the main devourers of your time and energy. Refuse them or delegate them. And opposite each critical case, write the approximate number of minutes or hours that it will take to complete it. When you add this time, you will find that you can deal with all the dangling things in 10 hours, for example. So - it's enough to give out just 20 minutes every day, and after a month you will release a tremendous amount of energy, which sealed in hanging tasks.

Leak control.

If you imagine a person in the form of a large vessel for energy, then for someone this vessel is all in cracks and holes: no matter how you pour it in, heat will flow out. How to prevent these leaks?

  • Limit your time on social networks. Hanging on Instagram, Facebook, youtube, we begin to live the life of other people, giving it an insane amount of energy: we worry, envy, argue or stare at someone's beautiful pictures. If it is unthinkable for you to abandon social networks altogether, then at least limit the time spent in them by setting limits on your smartphone.
  • Keep yourself safe from negative news. Unsubscribe from all groups and newsletters that tell you about horrors, tragedies and other adverse situations. Experiences, winding up, negative thoughts take away a massive amount of energy that you could spend on something beneficial.
  • Limit communication with toxic people. Think with whom from your environment it is especially difficult for you to communicate. Who continually criticizes you or "sponsors" only negative news and gossip? Find these people and try to limit communication with them.
Try these simple methods and fill your energy vessel to the top. Let your energy be in full swing and not only at the beginning of winter, but all 12 months of the year!
